This is the first time I went to Guang Zhou after the dawn of financial turmoil. Talking to a few suppliers, I soon came to realize that despite the economic downturn, the price of good quality jadeite remains unaffected. In fact it may have increased by another 20 to 30 %. In other words, it is worthwhile to invest in collectible jadeite if your pocket is deep.

Incidentally, Our teacher Ms Aw Yong was also wearing a Black Chic jadeite bangle in class.
